Suarez tells Arsenal star to join him at Barca

Arsenal right wing-back, Hector Bellerin has been urged to return to Barcelona by Spanish star, Denis Suarez.

The Gunners star has been on the radar of the Catalan giants for two summers as they desperately look to fill the vacuum vacated by Brazilian defender, Daniel Alves who moved to Juventus.

Bellerin graduated from the popular Barcelona's youth system before moving to North London in 2011 to join Arsenal and despite signing a six-year contract extension in November, Barcelona are keen to bring him back to the Camp Nou and Suarez is open to the idea.
"The people want the best at Barcelona and I hope Bellerin can come," Suarez – who is playing alongside Bellerin at the Under-21 European Championships – told Radio Marca as "The players of a top level are welcome."
Bellerin’s current contract at Arsenal runs until 2023 but with the Gunners not playing the UEFA Champions League next season as a result of finishing fifth in the premier league, the lure to represent his home town club in the biggest club competition in Europe may see him join his friend, Suarez at the Camp Nou this summer.

Jules Rimet handed it to Obdulio Varela – albeit in bizarre circumstances – at the Maracana in 1950, and though  La Celeste reached the semi-finals on three occasions thereafter, they have never gone further, losing to Hungary in 1954, Brazil in 1970, and the Netherlands in 2010. Eight teams have shorter odds of winning Russia 2018 than Uruguay, but that does not stop the Atletico Madrid centre-back from dreaming big. “There isn’t a day goes by that I stop thinking about the World Cup,” Godin told  Radio Rincón . “I dream of lifting the Trophy – of course, I do. “We qualified for the World Cup well. The important thing is that no-one gets injured, that everyone is right physically.”Godin believes the secret to Uruguay’s prosperity under Oscar Tabarez – t...
