OMERUO WINS SPORTS PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR

Super Eagles defender,Kenneth Omeruo has emerged as the Sports Personality of the year in Turkey.
The Chelsea loanee was bestowed this honour at the African Entertainment Awards held in Turkey over the weekend.
Omeruo who also enjoyed a big win with his team in their last outing in the Super Lig took to his Instagram page to express his satisfaction on winning the accolade.
“Privileged to have received the sports personality award yesterday in the African Entertainment Awards Turkey. ”
Omeruo has been in action for Nigeria in their two 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match played so far.
The Eagles have beaten Zambia and Algeria respectively as they battle to make it to Russia 2018.
Omeruo was part of the Super Eagles team to the last World Cup on Brazil.

Godin: I dream of lifting the cup
