MANCHESTER UNITED SQUAD IS GOOD ENOUGH TO WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE - LINGARD

Jesse Lingard is confident that Manchester United can win the Premier League this season.
After winning the title in Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season in 2013, the Red Devils have been unable to challenge domestically or in Europe, finishing seventh the following season before fourth and fifth place finishes under Louis van Gaal.
Now with Jose Mourinho in charge, United is looking to get back to the top of English and European football, having recruited the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Eric Bailly and Henrikh Mkhitaryan over the summer.
However, the team has been struggling of late, as it sits sixth in the table, eight points behind league-leading Liverpool, while it has won just one of its last five games in the competition.
Lingard, though, is not concerned at this point and believes that once the team and new players get used to each other, they will be able to compete with the rest of the main title contenders.
"The players that have come in can help a lot,” he told the club’s official website. “We're still getting to know each other better, to learn off each other week in, week out.
“But with the four signings we've made, I think we have a strong enough squad to win the league this season."
Poor performances from Pogba in the wake of his signing for a world record fee from Juventus has prompted a lot of criticism for the France midfielder.
